Paris Hilton

It’s been a banner year for Paris Hilton. Since the 26 year old heiress of the hotel fortune was photographed on New Year’s Eve in a compromising position with a man in Paris, France, her Instagram has been filled with steamy pics of the hotel owner and famous bachelor party guests.

Overnight, her eponymous fashion line was valued at over £13billion, making it the world’s most popular luxury goods brand. She has also been appointed a UN Women Global Advocate for the Rights of Women and Girls.

And then there’s the whole Caviar event fiasco. The heiress came out the worse for wear after hiring ‘high-class’ prostitutes to serve caviar to willing guests at her Beverly Hills home. Police subsequently launched an investigation into allegations of human trafficking and the entertainer was banned from ever hosting another event like it again.

Here, we examine her business ventures and key moments in the life of Paris Hilton.

Fashion

Since launching her style label in 2010, Paris Hilton has been responsible for breaking some of the most popular fashion trends in the world. From launching a multi-million pound luxury swimwear line to creating a fur trend that stayed in for the long haul, the Blue Planet star has influenced millions.

One of the biggest fashion trends to emerge in recent years has been lumen cleaning. Inspired by Hilton’s own outfits and those of Audrey Hepburn, the wardrobe malfunctioner has been hailed as the style inspiration of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements.

Luminous dresses, heels and jackets in synthetic materials such as polyester and acrylic have been wanted by women and girls around the world since Hilton introduced the trend in 2017. As a result of the craze, the Salon Mulhouse, a famous French interior design store, closed down for three months so that they could replenish their stocks of linen dress.

The designer has also been responsible for creating fairytale-themed fashion lines such as Aladdin, Jack and the Joker. Hilton has designed outfits for Disney characters, princesses and penguins, which she has modelled herself.

Beauty

As well as fashion, Hilton is also responsible for bringing a new beauty trend to the world. After years of skinimalism, the beauty guru has introduced a host of new products, treatments and routines aimed at making her customers look and feel their best.

The wellness and beauty industry has taken note of Hilton’s health-conscious approach to beauty, with her skincare products being touted as the gold standard among celebrities.

The wellness guru has even gone beyond skincare, incorporating her own serum into lip treatments and facial moisturisers. Derived from fruit and plant extracts, the serum helps moisturise skin and reduce wrinkles.

While we’re talking skinimalism, Hilton has also been vocal in the past about her love of face cream, debunking many of the false beliefs surrounding the subject. In fact, she is so committed to her anti-wrinkle serum that she has been known to rub it into her chipped nails.

Another beauty product trend that has been spurred on by Hilton is the no makeup look. Often touted as an overnight success, the trend-setter has shown that true beauty can be achieved without the need for heavy makeup. A lot of Hilton’s own products, such as her skincare line Rainbow Bright, are designed without any visible makeup at all.

In fact, much of Hilton’s success can be attributed to her unwavering support for natural beauty and her unapologetic love of lipstick. As well as being known for being one of the most fashionable women in the world, she is now also recognised as one of the most stunningly beautiful women ever. Thanks to her efforts, many women are now embracing their inner caviar and rocking the Caviar effect – no makeup, no hair waver, just pure lipstick.

Entertainment

Since her career in entertainment began, Paris Hilton has established herself as one of the most famous and stylish women in the world. In addition to her fashion acumen, the heiress has also been responsible for making headlines for the right reasons. In 2018 alone, she was named the most stylish woman in the world by Vogue, made a comeback with a new show on Netflix and was named the best social media influencer of 2018 by Hootsuite.

While we’re on the subject of media, it’s worth noting that due to her efforts, many famous fashion styles now have a genuinely pop culture vibe. From her initial foray into the social media limelight, when she posted a risqué photo with Donald Trump, to more recent exploits like when she hired a sex worker to give bachelorette parties in Beverly Hills, Hilton’s pennies have been well spent.

Miscellaneous

In addition to her fashion and beauty businesses, Hilton has also been the face of fashion campaigns, created a kids’ fashion line Papyrus and wrote three novels. She also loves to shop, often splurging on luxury goods and services for herself and long-time partner Richie Saltzman. The couple have a collection of 11 cars, including a chase bike, a mercedes-AMG and a truck. They even have their own bespoke wine, designed to match the colours of their house, Mulhouse.

Hilton currently lives in Bel Air, the millionaire’s retreat that she shares with Saltzman. The couple married in October 2017 and have two children, a boy and a girl. They’re also proud to have two Mulhouse granddaughters.

With her business ventures, famous friends and beautiful nature, it’s fair to say that Paris Hilton has had an eventful 2019. But one thing is for sure, the heiress will always maintain her place among the world’s most fashionable and stunning women.
