The new logo is similar in form to Kylie’s famous kiss-shaped logo, but with rounded edges instead of pointed ones. It also adds a bit more color, going from silver-grey to blue and green. The color choices are meant to represent a fresh start and a continuation of the platform’s chic, fashionable, and young-focused identity. No word yet if the logo change has affected video views on the platform, but considering that most people discover content on social media via a logo or thumbnail, it’s likely that the change has had some impact. With millions of followers, Kylie could have chosen any logo she wanted for the project, but she decided to keep it classic and simple, and in line with the fashion style of the trendy cities she often posts in (e.g., New York, Los Angeles, and London).
