Style
One of my favorite ways to blog is to show off my style. I love to share my outfits and how I wear each piece of clothing. It’s amazing how different pieces of clothing can be combined to create a whole fashion outfit that looks completely stunning and polished! I also love showing how different styles of clothing can be worn together to create a trendy and stylish outfit that is completely unique to you!
This blog post is going to be a little different than the rest as I’m going to give you a behind-the-scenes look at my personal styling process. I will be walking you through the steps that I take to create a stylish outfit that is perfect for the streets or for a night out in a restaurant.
Personal Stylist Process
I get asked a lot about my personal styling process so I thought it would be a good idea to write a blog post about it.
When I first started blogging, I couldn’t afford a personal stylist so I did a lot of the following to fashionably achieve my desired look:
- Wear what I want
- Try on a lot of different styles
- Get my hair and makeup done by professionals
- Shop for the best quality at affordable prices
- Use the right products
- Invest in good quality items
- Mix and match
- Keep up with the trends
Over time, as my blog grew in popularity, I was able to afford a personal stylist and now I do all of the above tasks myself. However, I still use a stylist to help me keep my nails clean and groomed.
How To Style Your Outfit
Whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate fashionista, styling your outfit can be a challenging process. You want to look your best but you also don’t want to break the bank. The key to styling your outfit is by following the golden rule of style:
Choose the right accessories for the outfit and wear what you want. Never wear an accessory that isn’t in harmony with what you are wearing on the outfit as a whole. This will help create the illusion that your fashion choices work together instead of competing with each other.
For example, if you are wearing a tie dress and want to wear watches, stack them on your wrist but don’t wear a necklace as it will clash with the dress. The same goes for sunglasses and a hat; when you stack them on your head, it creates the perfect frame for your face.
This simple tip will help you look fashionable without having to spend a fortune. Of course, this doesn’t mean that you need to follow this rule perfectly but it will help you get the most out of your outfits.
Keep Up With The Trends
It’s no secret that trends come and go but if you want to keep up with the latest fashion trends, you need to be proactive about it. You can do this by regularly checking out the hottest fashion blogs and following the trends as they come in.
It’s also important to keep up with the trends as it reflects what is fashionable and trendy at the moment. For example, if you see a lot of people wearing pastel shades, you should grab a pair and stash them away as soon as you can. Pastel shades will never go out of style because people will always find a way to wear them so if you want to keep up with the trends, you should try and incorporate them into your style.
Shop For The Best Quality
It’s well established that cheaper items are more affordable but, in terms of style and how well it works for you, there is a big difference between expensive items and cheap items. Expensive items are more often than not, of higher quality and will provide you with a better overall experience. When you purchase expensive items, you are in effect, investing in quality. If you want to shop for the best quality, you need to be selective about the brands you purchase from as there are a lot of cheap items available online that are of questionable quality.
Invest In Good Quality Items
Good quality items are not only associated with expensive brands but they also come with a hefty price tag. Cheap items are usually of poor quality and are made with cheaper materials. When you purchase quality items, you are investing in good shape and it shows. Quality items will last you a long time and will be able to withstand multiple washings. If you want to invest in good quality, there is a variety of brands and items that you can choose from. You just have to be sure that you are getting what you pay for.
Mix And Match
When you are fashionably achieving your desired look, it often means that you are going against the grain. A lot of people think that fashion is about following the herd but that isn’t true; being different is what makes you stand out. If you want to mix and match outfits but keep up with the trends, you should be a jack of all trades when it comes to fashion. You should have a versatile fashion base that enables you to easily switch from day to night, formal to casual, or business to pleasure.

Now that you are better equipped to style your outfit, it’s time to get creative. Once you have followed these simple tips, it’s plain sailing to keep up with the latest fashion trends. Pastel shades will always be in but, thanks to the pandemic, they have never been more in. People are wearing them and it’s about time that you joined the party.
