Anna Kournikova is a model and social media star. She became famous after posting several covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle which went viral. She has over 500 million views on her YouTube channel.

While Anna has enjoyed a very successful modelling career, she has always been keen to explore other avenues for personal growth. She is reported to have said, “I’ve been to many different places in the world, but I always come back to my village and my house in the countryside. I love being in nature, and I want to live a simple, connected life.”

In 2018, Anna decided to plant a tree to celebrate the simplicity of life in nature. She began a campaign on social media using the hashtag #TreePlantingChallenge, inviting people to join in by posting their own tree-planting photos.

As part of this challenge, Anna also shared her top five tips for those looking to plant a tree:

Be Confident

It’s not easy to be the best at something you’re not used to, so be confident when you plant your tree. Even if you’re not naturally a very confident person, surround yourself with people who believe in you. When you plant the tree, say “I am confident that this will grow,” and mean it. Being confident will give you the best chance of seeing your tree grow strong and healthy. If you’re not truly confident, then you might not plant the tree in the first place because you’re worried about damaging it.

Get Help

If you’re really determined to plant a tree, then get help. There are organizations that provide volunteers to help with tree planting, and even local parks departments will sometimes pull up roots for you. Get all the help you can so that you can focus on what you need to do. If you work with others, then you’ll be able to accomplish more in less time. Plus, it’s always nice to have help with something difficult. It can make a world of difference in terms of how good you feel when you’ve finished. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. You’re not alone in this world, and there are people who want to help for the betterment of society.

Make A Plan

Making a plan is essential if you want to have a successful tree-planting session. Know what you’re going to do beforehand so that you don’t waste any time. For example, you can prepare the soil by digging it, and you can make sure you have all the appropriate tools and equipment to take care of the tree properly. Having everything written down will also make sure that you don’t forget anything important. Having a plan means that you’re not going to waste time trying to remember what you need to do. You’ll simply follow the plan and everything will work out perfectly.

Pick A Suitable Location

Make sure that you pick a location that’s suitable for the tree. If you want a fruit tree, then an area with plenty of sunshine will be best. Similarly, if you want a nut tree, then a cold area with a lot of snow will be ideal. Choose an area that’s far from any overhead power lines so that you don’t get shocked when you touch them. It’s also a good idea to check with the local utility company to see if there are any hidden charges for the power lines. You don’t want to get stung by the bills later on. It’s also important to pick a location that’s near a water source. If you don’t have one nearby, then you might want to think about getting some bottled water delivered to the location. It will also be helpful if you have someone nearby to help you cut down the tree when it gets large enough.

Start Small

If you’re new to planting trees, then start small. You don’t necessarily have to plant a huge tree right away. Start with some seeds or saplings and wait until they’re a little bigger before you tackle the bigger trees. You can always plant more trees later on if you want to. There’s no rush to plant a tree. You can take your time and do it properly. A lot of people plant trees with the thought that it’ll make them happy, as a way of expressing themselves through their gardens. But sometimes these people forget about their trees for so long that by the time they remember about them, the trees are already dead, or at least unhealthy. So, it’s important to take time to grow your tree properly, and make sure it’s something that you’ll enjoy having around for a long time.

Check Up On It

Make sure that you check up on your tree frequently. It’s important to pay attention to how your tree is doing, especially in the early stages. Watch for signs of if it’s growing, and if it is, then great! If it starts getting a bit overgrown, then that’s when you should probably take it out and plant another one. It’s a good idea to cut down trees that are getting too large because then you can give it more room to grow. Remember, a large tree can become a problem in terms of its stability, so be careful about how much weight you put on it. If you have children or animals around the house, then make sure that they’re not walking around the tree either, because they might get injured by falling limbs or branches.

Enjoy The Process

Finally, make sure that you enjoy the process of planting your tree. You’re not going to be doing this for the sake of doing something. You’re doing this to make your life a little bit better. So, regardless of whether or not you actually end up enjoying the tree that you plant, it doesn’t matter. Just make sure that you enjoy the process of taking care of it and watching it grow. You’ll be happier in the long run if you can enjoy the simple things in life. And who knows, maybe your tree will even provide you with some of these things you enjoy about living in nature.

Planting a tree can be a meaningful act. It’s a great way to bond with nature and give something a little more purpose. It can also be a way to improve your life by providing you with fresh air, natural light, and food for your fruit and nut trees. So, make sure you take the time to enjoy the process and know that in the end, you’ll be able to look back with a smile on your face.
