How Did You Come Up With The Name Amanda Harrington?

As a little girl, I would often times find myself daydreaming about my wedding day. It was a magical, once-in-a-lifetime event that I had always envisioned myself celebrating. So when I hit adulthood, I set about making my wedding day a reality and the rest, as they say, is history.

What Type Of Wedding Are You Planning?

I am planning an intimate, vintage-style wedding in New York City in the summer of 2020. Nothing but the most precious materials and a personal touch will be used to create an unforgettable experience for my guests. I want elegance and a celebration that is as unique as I am.

What Has Been Your Favorite Part Of The Wedding Planning Process?

I have to say that the most exciting part of the planning process has been seeing my vision come to life. Every detail, from the invitations to the dress, has been meticulously thought out and feels like it was truly designed to reflect my style and the love that I have for my husband-to-be and our upcoming marriage. It’s been a journey, but I feel confident that we have crafted a dream wedding that will be unforgettable to us and our guests.

What Is Your Favorite Place To Shop For Wedding Furniture?

I love coming up with unique ideas for wedding decorations, but I also adore buying accessories and pieces that will last me a lifetime. That’s why I’m so drawn to unique pieces of furniture. After all, nobody wants a disposable decoration when planning a wedding.

Where Do You Want To Eat Your Wedding Dinner?

We are having our wedding dinner buffet, and I would like to have it held at a restaurant with one of my favorite menus. Something European. My husband is from London, and I have always wanted to have a wedding dinner there. So, somewhere with a fish menu sounds perfect to me.

What Is Your Favorite Type Of Wedding Cake?

My favorite type of cake is a tie between an Oreo cake and a chocolate-covered strawberry cake. I adore chocolate, so the combination of a chocolate-covered strawberry cake and a hot open-faced sandwich filled with mouthwatering salami, smoked salmon, and mozzarella sounds like an explosion of flavor to me!

How Many Guests Will You Have For Dinner?

We are inviting about 75-100 guests for dinner, which will be held at a high-end restaurant. We want to have a more intimate affair, so between the two families and our closest friends, there will probably be about 125 people at my wedding dinner.

Do You Have Any Special Touches Or Ideas For The Wedding?

Yes, I have a few ideas that I’d like to share with you. One is that I’d like to have a bridal shower before the wedding. I plan to have it at a location, which will be somewhere private and gorgeous. My husband-to-be will be the guest of honor, and we will share a few private moments together before the party begins. It will be a beautiful way to introduce my husband to my closest friends and family.

Another special touch that I have in mind is for our wedding day. We will have a beautiful dinner and cake served by professional waiters, perhaps in an indoor-outdoor setting. After the ceremony, we will then have a wedding party with close friends and family. We will have some pictures taken, and then we will move into the evening’s reception venue. There will be dancing, cake, and more cake. I think the outdoor ceremony will be a breathtaking moment, and I can’t wait for the first dance!

Do You Have Any Pre-Wedding Drinks Or Entertainment In Mind?

We are having a cocktail hour before the wedding. We are having live jazz music, and there will be speeches from both sides of the family. I have also invited some of my favorite designers to help me create a unique piece of attire for the big day.

What Is Your Favorite Way To End A Wedding Day?

A wedding day should be a magical day, and I hope that my wedding will be an unforgettable event. So, for me, the perfect way to end a wedding day is with a stroll down the aisle. My husband and I will meet at the altar, and after the ceremony, we will walk down the aisle together.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to read about my wedding plans. I am excited to share with you our journey to create a beautiful celebration that will be cherished for years to come. I hope that you are able to find inspiration from my wedding to plan your own special day.
