Hi, my name is Alena and I am an experienced makeup artist. I have been doing beauty related workshops and master classes for the past couple of years and have helped many women discover their beauty talents. Whether you are a professional or an enthusiast, I would love to help you discover your beauty potential and help you to express it through your makeup artistry. Let’s get started.

Understand Your Eyebrows

The first and most important step to applying makeup is to understand how you should be forming your eyebrows. There is no perfect formula to creating beautifully arched eyebrows, but there are definitely some general guidelines that you should observe. First of all, never pluck, tweeze or shape your eyebrows before applying makeup because doing so will most likely result in you creating an incomplete arch. Instead, prepare your eyebrows by using an eyebrow pencil and rounding off the edges. Next, draw a small shape at the inner corner of your eye, where you can see it best, with a pencil. This will help you determine how much arch you should generate in your eyebrows. You can also use this as a reference to adjust the shape of your eyebrows later on if you feel like your look is a little too tight or open.

The Perfect Curved Eyeliner

Another important aspect of your makeup application is ensuring that your eyeliner is perfect. There are a few basic tricks that you can use to get that perfect liner. First of all, apply a base coat to your eyelids, using a brush or a sponge tip. Next, add a thin layer of liner and blend it out by gently moving your eyeball around. It is also important to note that you should never rub your eyes when applying this type of makeup, as it will most likely result in eye makeup that will rub off. Never wear makeup that is too thick in the inner corner of your eyes, as it can cause problems with tear ducts and result in excessive tearing during the day. Thicker liners are also harder to remove, so be careful if you have to take it off in the middle of the day.

Choose The Right Fitting Dress

Dress is an important element of your total look, so take the time to find the right one. There are a few basic tips that can help you pick the right dress. First, look for a dress that fits you perfectly. It is recommended that you try on a few different sizes to find the one that feels the best on you. Next, pick a color that compliments your skin tone and the overall theme of your look. If you are not sure what to choose, then ask an expert for help or take some time to look through fashion magazines to see what is currently in trend. You should also try on different styles to see which one feels the best on you and to understand what looks you prefer. Some women may prefer a mini dress while others may feel more comfortable in a long dress. Different lengths can also be overwhelming, so it’s best to try on a few different styles and see which one feels the best on you.

The Multi-Tasking Lipstick

When you are applying lipstick, it is important to multi-task. This means that you should be mindful of more than one element, instead of just focusing on your lips. The first and most important step is to prime your lips by rubbing a little petroleum jelly (yes, that stuff you use to remove ear wax) along the surface of your lips. This will help ensure that your lipstick goes on smoothly and stays on for a long while. Next, apply a base coat, using either a pencil or a lipstick that is already charged with color. Finish by applying a topcoat, using either a pencil or lipstick in the same color as your base coat. This will result in a smooth, long-lasting lipstick finish. If you really want to take your lipstick game to the next level, then apply a clear lip gloss or lip butter to your lips before applying the finishing coat. This will help create a gorgeous, shiny finish that will make all the difference. It’s a great way to add an extra layer of shine to your otherwise dull lipstick.

Create The Illusion Of Height With Your Hair

Hair is a great way to create an illusion of height, so take the time to learn how to use it properly. First, sweep back your hair with a hair-clipping tool, so that it forms a large, loose, shape. Second, use your fingers to pull out hair pieces from the inside, toward the surface. This will give the illusion that your hair is rising, as if you were pulling it upwards with the help of a ventriloquist dummy. Finally, be careful not to pull too much hair at one time, or you may end up falling over time.

Take Care Of Your Nails

Nails are an important part of your total look, so take the time to keep them looking healthy. First, make sure that your nails are short and clean, especially if you are going to be wearing open-toed shoes. Second, cuticles should be trimmed, as long nails can cause infections. Third, avoid nail polish that contains a base coat, as these tend to crack and peel off after a while. Fourth, make sure that the paint applied to your nails is of good quality and does not contain any oil or water. These elements can cause the nail polish to peel off. Finally, apply a manicomade cream before bedtime, to keep nails moisturized and looking healthy.

Overall Appearance

The overall appearance of your makeup is very important. There are a few basic tips that you can use to ensure that your makeup looks absolutely perfect. First, make sure that your face is clean and free of any makeup or skincare products. Second, use a hydrating mask if you are going to be wearing makeup for more than four hours, or if you need that extra moisture. Third, blot your face, when necessary, to remove excess oil. Fourth, finish your look with an eyeshadow that matches the color of your lip liner, if you are going to be wearing lip liner, and vice versa. Last but not least, learn to use different products for different purposes. Some of them work great together, while others do not go well together at all. Take the time to experiment and see what works best for you.
